MAC News ReleaseConstruct an accordion-spine flag book using stencil prints for your page design. This sculptural book opens with a WOW factor — pages that open in opposite directions to produce a cascade effect. We will build a prototype book form with blank pages first to get familiar with the format and construction components. After sketching and refining imagery ideas, we’ll make stencils from your own designs and practice stenciling/stippling techniques using ink pads as the color medium.We finish by building a second book that includes your stencil imagery plus any additional writing/drawing that’s desired.
